Overview
A healing goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann, daughter of Dian Cécht. After her brother Miach was killed by their jealous father, all the herbs of healing grew from his grave; Airmid arranged them on her cloak before Dian Cécht scattered them.
The story behind Airmid
When her father killed her brother Miach out of jealousy, Airmid wept over his grave and 365 herbs sprang from his body, each with a healing power; Dian Cécht scattered them in fury before she could record the lore, and so the secret of total healing was lost.
