The story behind Clíodhna
Clíodhna fell in love with the mortal Ciabhán of the Curling Locks and fled with him to Ireland; while he was hunting, she fell asleep on the shore and the great wave that bears her name swept her back to the otherworld; she is said to be queen of all the fairies of south Munster.
