The story behind Donn
Donn dwelt at Tech Duinn ('the House of Donn'), an island off the Kerry coast where the souls of the Irish dead were said to gather before passing to the otherworld; he was equated with the eldest son of Míl who drowned at sea on the Milesian invasion.
